Guiyang Downtown Recommendations:

Scenic Recommendation: Miao Wind and Rain Bridge Depart in the morning and head to Libo in Qiannan, praised by UNESCO as "the last green gem at the same latitude on Earth" (about 4 hours by car). After lunch, take a 10-minute drive to the national AAAAA-level scenic spot — Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, with a touring time of no less than 3 hours. Shuttle buses are required between scenic spots (not included: shuttle bus fee 40 yuan per person plus scenic insurance 10 yuan per person, total 50 yuan at your own expense). Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is named after a seven-arch stone bridge built in the 15th year of the Daoguang reign (1836). Known as a "super bonsai", the area integrates mountains, waters, caves, forests, lakes and waterfalls. Within a canyon less than 2 kilometers long, there are 68 cascading waterfalls rushing down in succession. Laya Waterfall is exquisite and charming with splashing water droplets. The Water Forest, less than 600 meters long, features tree roots twisting over scattered stones and clear streams flowing over bluestones. Walking inside feels like wandering in a fairyland.(Note: Boating at Yuanyang Lake is an optional self-paid item inside the scenic area, costing 30 yuan per person.) After the tour, proceed to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village (about 3.5 hours by car). Upon arrival, take the scenic shuttle bus (not included: 4-ride shuttle bus fee 20 yuan per person plus scenic insurance 10 yuan per person, total 30 yuan at your own expense) to enter the scenic area. Check into the hotel, store your luggage, and enjoy free time afterwards.

After breakfast, visitXijiang Qianhu Miao Village, the largest Miao village under heaven. Walk through local alleys to experience Miao daily life, visit the Miao Life Museum, and head to the viewing platform to overlook the panoramic view of Xijiang.

Explore the most primitive ethnic customs and ancient traditional culture. Step into the thousand-year-old Miao Royal Mansion to feel the simple ethnic atmosphere and learn about local landmark specialties — an in-depth journey to discover the history and culture of the Miao people.

Enjoy the characteristic MiaoLong Table Banquetfor lunch. After the meal, you will have plenty of free time to wander and relax at your own pace in Xijiang. After the visit, take the coach to Zhenyuan Ancient Town and check into the hotel.

Scenic Highlight: Fanjingshan Mountain After breakfast, depart for Fanjingshan Mountain, a World Natural Heritage Site and national 5A-level scenic area (departure time notified by the tour guide; about 2.5 hours’ drive). Ascend this national nature reserve, a UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Reserve, renowned Buddhist sacred mountain and Maitreya Bodhimanda. The sightseeing lasts 3–4 hours. Not included: round-trip cable car fee 140 yuan per person, shuttle bus 48 yuan per person, and scenic area insurance 10 yuan per person. Take the eastern route uphill to explore the primeval forest and climb the 94-meter-high Buddhist sacred Golden Summit. Pass by cliff carvings, climb along iron chains to Linggong Platform, walk through Tingxin Stone, Cihang Bridge, Guanyin Grottoes and Jindao Gorge, and finally reach the Golden Summit. Worship the Present Buddha at Sakyamuni Hall, cross Tianxian Bridge to pray to the Future Buddha at Maitreya Hall, and stand at the Golden Summit with an altitude of 2336 meters, the main peak of the Wuling Mountains, enjoying a panoramic view of surrounding mountains. Then head to the Mushroom Stone Scenic Area to admire the iconic landmark of Fanjingshan — Mushroom Stone. It is a vast natural oxygen bar where you can breathe fresh air, stay away from urban noise and embrace peace and tranquility. After the tour, enjoy lunch, then take the coach back to Guiyang (about 4.5 hours’ drive). Special Notice: Fanjingshan Scenic Area implements visitor flow control during peak seasons. Under normal circumstances, we will arrange the round-trip cable car on the eastern route at a cost of 140 yuan. If flow control is enforced, visitors will hike uphill via the western route and take the cable car downhill via the eastern route; the one-way downhill cable car fee of 70 yuan per person shall be at the guest’s own expense.

For departures from Guiyang Longdongbao Airport, Guiyang North Railway Station and Guiyang East Railway Station, please wait and check in on your own at the airport or railway station, and complete boarding procedures by yourself.

For Guiyang Railway Station, the tour vehicle can only drop you off at the tourist parking lot about 600 meters away from the station entrance; you will need to walk around 600 meters to enter the station on your own.
