After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visitMaling River Grand Canyon(around 2 hours). Known as “a beautiful scar on the earth”, it lies 5 kilometers east of Xingyi, boasting magnificent, exotic, precipitous and graceful scenery.

Carved by crustal movements, the deep canyon features cascading waterfalls, hanging green bamboos, connected karst caves and stunning calcified landforms, with varied ancient trees lining both banks. It also preserves ancient bridges, battlefields and post roads, full of primitive charm and mysterious vibes. Dominated by grand waterfalls and cliff calcareous deposits, it presents one-of-a-kind natural scenery.

Visit Wanfenglin, famed for the verse“Peaks spread all under heaven, yet only here form forests”(approx. 2 hours; scenic shuttle cart not included). Ranked among China’s Top Five Peak Forests in theChina National Geography“Beauty of China” campaign.

The natural Bagua Field lies in the heart of Nahui Village, with an intricate, layered layout shaped by nature. Three bottomless natural sinkholes, known as “Earth’s Eyes”, dot the land. Surrounding farmlands curve around the depressions, forming a unique Bagua pattern. It is locally believed that walking here brings good fortune and career luck.

After lunch, head toWanfeng Lake (complimentary attraction; no refund if closed due to bad weather). Enjoy a lake cruise, then transfer to Anshun for hotel check-in.

Take a coach to Huangguoshu Scenic Area. Upon arrival, transfer by in‑scenic shuttle cart. The shuttle fee of ¥50 plus ¥10 scenic insurance, totaling ¥60, shall be at guests’ own expense.

Proceed to Tianxingqiao Scenic Area, known as “Water Stone Forest” and “Natural Bonsai”. It is covered with oddly scattered rocks. Along the way, visit highlights including Gaolaozhuang Tianxing Lake, Tianxing Cave with marvelous karst landscapes, Xiaobailong Spring Pond, Water Stone Forest, Upper Tianxingqiao Bridge and Waterfall Bridge. Sufficient time is arranged for Huangguoshu Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Asia, allowing you to admire it from six viewpoints: front, back, left, right, above and below.

Afterwards, tour Doupotang Waterfall, the widest one in the waterfall group, a well‑known filming location ofJourney to the West.

(The scenic area usually has large crowds. Please do not walk while taking photos. Water splashes from the waterfall may wet the paths; please watch your step to avoid slips and falls. Please wait in order for the eco‑friendly shuttle during busy hours for safety.)

An optional escalator is available in the scenic area at ¥50 for guests to choose at their own discretion.

In the morning, travel to Libo in Qiannan, hailed by UNESCO as “the last emerald on earth at the same latitude”. After lunch, take a 10-minute drive to the 5A-level scenic area — Xiaoqikong, with a touring time of no less than 3 hours.Shuttle carts are required between scenic spots. The cart fee of ¥40 per person plus ¥10 scenic insurance, totaling ¥50, are at your own expense.Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is named after a seven-arch stone bridge built in the 15th year of the Daoguang reign (1836). Known as a “super natural bonsai”, it integrates mountains, waters, caves, forests, lakes and waterfalls. Within a canyon less than 2 kilometers long, there are 68 cascading waterfalls flowing down continuously.Laya Waterfall features delicate scenery with splashing water droplets. The Water Forest, less than 600 meters long, has tree roots twisting over scattered stones. Clear streams flow over bluestones, creating a fairyland-like walking experience.(Note: Kayaking at Yuanyang Lake is an optional extra charge item at ¥30 per person.) After the tour, head to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village (around 3.5 hours by car). Upon arrival, take the scenic shuttle cart (4 rides included; cart fee ¥20 per person + ¥10 scenic insurance, total ¥30 at your own expense) to enter the scenic area. After hotel check-in and luggage storage, you will have free time at your leisure.                  

After breakfast, visitXijiang Qianhu Miao Village, the largest Miao village in China. Wander through local streets to experience Miao daily life, explore the Miao Folk Museum, and head to the viewing platform for a panoramic overlook of Xijiang.

Discover primitive ethnic customs and ancient traditional culture. Visit the thousand-year-old Miao Royal Mansion to immerse yourself in rustic ethnic vibes and learn about local featured products, presenting an in-depth journey to explore the history and culture of the Miao people.

Experience Activity: Batik Making

After lunch, travel toZhenyuan Ancient Townand freely stroll along the ancient town pedestrian street. Afterwards, proceed to Jiangkou and check in at the hotel.

After breakfast, depart forMount Fanjing, a World Natural Heritage Site and national 5A scenic area (departure time as notified by the tour guide). As a national nature reserve, it is part of the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Programme, a renowned Buddhist mountain and Maitreya sacred land. The sightseeing lasts 3–4 hours.

Round-trip cable car (¥140/person), shuttle bus (¥48/person) and scenic insurance (¥10/person) arenot includedand to be paid by guests.

Ascend via the east route to explore primeval forests and climb the 94-meter Golden Summit, a famous Buddhist sanctuary. Along the way, see cliff carvings, climb the Spirit Palace Platform by iron chains, pass through Heart Piercing Stone, Cihang Bridge, Guanyin Grotto and Golden Sword Gorge. Worship the Present Buddha at Sakyamuni Hall and the Future Buddha at Maitreya Hall via Heavenly Bridge. Reach the summit at 2,336 meters above sea level, the main peak of the Wuling Mountains, for sweeping mountain views. Then head to the Mushroom Stone Scenic Area to admire Mount Fanjing’s iconic landmark.

Surrounded by dense forests, it serves as a natural oxygen bar. Enjoy fresh air, escape urban noise and embrace peace and tranquility. After the tour, have lunch, then take a coach back to Guiyang (approx. 4.5 hours’ drive).

Special Notice:

During peak seasons, Mount Fanjing enforces visitor limits. Normally, the east route with round-trip cable cars (¥140) will be arranged. If restricted, guests will hike up via the west route and take the one-way east cable car downhill at their own expense (¥70/person).
